Gerald Andrus Teamwork Makes Dreams Work

06/01/2016

Employees from Gerald Andrus plant in Greenville, Mississippi, recently teamed up to make dreams come true for a local resident.

Employees replaced broken windows and deteriorating trim around the outside edges and eves of the house. A new coat of paint followed.

“We made improvements on an elderly woman’s home,” said Darlene Kitchens, administrative assistant at the plant. “After we finished, the daughter said she was very pleased with our work.”

The work was part of the United Way’s Housing Initiative, where the agency provides funding for volunteers to help with home improvements.

“This is another example of how our team lives the company’s mission by supporting our community stakeholder,” said Pat Thibodeaux, manager, power plant.
