Entergy New Orleans Teams with Community Partners to Host Super Tax Day

“Throw me somethin’ mister” is a familiar phrase around the Crescent City this time of year, and as everyone prepares to catch as many Mardi Gras beads as they can, Entergy New Orleans is gearing up to make sure local customers claim something else – the Earned Income Tax Credit. On Saturday, Feb. 3, the company is partnering with United Way of Southeast Louisiana and Total Community Action, Inc. to offer free tax prep to qualified residents on what has come to be known as Super Tax Day. This year’s event will be held at the Xavier University Convocation Center, 7910 Stroelitz St., from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. where trained volunteers will be on hand to provide assistance.
