Entergy Arkansas received a 2019 E2 Award from the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality for implementing forward-thinking initiatives that have helped customers increase energy efficiency and save money. Since 2016, advanced thermostats have saved Entergy customers more than $170,000 on their bills.

Each year, ADEQ recognizes businesses and organizations in Arkansas for their efforts to protect and enhance the state's environment by presenting three prestigious awards: the Arkansas Environmental Stewardship (ENVY) Award, the Arkansas Environmental Technology (TECHe) Award and the E2 Energy Award. Businesses, nonprofits and government entities are encouraged to apply.
