Spring symbolizes a new beginning, but when it comes to seasonal changes, the uncertainty of weather remains. Entergy Mississippi plans and trains all year to respond and restore power when extreme, unpredictable weather causes power outages and downed power lines.
Work boosts local economy by bringing in 1,900 additional workers
For more than 14 years, IRS-certified Entergy volunteers have provided free tax preparation for low-to-moderate income taxpayers at Volunteer Income Tax Assistance sites throughout the Entergy Mississippi service area.
As of noon Thursday, approximately 12,000 customers are without power in the northern portion of our service area.
