Entergy Arkansas officials announced Thursday it has issued a request for proposals for 1,000 megawatts of solar and wind generation resources, emissions-free renewables that can provide cost-effective energy supply, capacity, fuel diversity, and other benefits to its customers.
Entergy Mississippi has purchased the former Primos facility and 10 acres, and some 25 adjacent acres in the Flora Industrial Park, and will relocate 44 employees to the site once the property is in service next year.

Entergy New Orleans has installed smart technologies to lessen the impact of outage times for customers, installed equipment to improve grid reliability, and replaced aging gas infrastructure. Through the company’s strategic investments, Entergy New Orleans has made progress in reducing customer interruptions from distribution equipment impacts by more than 38% since 2018.
