Tracie Roberts, who has been with Entergy Texas since November 2014, is replacing Ronnie Hale as the customer service representative (CSR) for Navasota and the surrounding areas.
Hale is retiring this month after 50 years at Entergy and 22 years as the CSR. Before taking her new role, Roberts was an engineering assistant in the Huntsville office. A graduate of Sam Houston State University and The Woodlands High School, she has received recognition for her volunteer efforts while at Entergy.
Most recently, she was given an Impact Award for her work teaching STEAM Town USA to girls as Glenloch Elementary in Conroe Independent School District. Steam Town USA is an organization that seeks narrow that gap for third grade girls in the study of math and science through STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) concepts.
Roberts also has represented Entergy in Austin during meetings with elected officials during the 85th Legislative Session and in other volunteer endeavors. She also received an award in 2016 for lighting sales and another Impact Award in 2015 for high productivity.
Roberts holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial technology, design and development from Sam Houston. She lives in Willis with her husband, Tyler, of two years.
Besides Navosota, she will serve customers in the areas that include Burleson, Grimes, Limestone, Madison, Robertson, Trinity and Walker counties.
