More than 100 Mississippi nonprofit organizations are beneficiaries
As crews continue to work on restoring service to customers affected by Hurricane Ida, Entergy Corporation employees are teaming up with nonprofits and partners both local and from across the country to help those who have been impacted.
Entergy Corporation and the Entergy Charitable Foundation have helped power stronger, healthier communities in 2021 by contributing more than $7.6 million to 763 nonprofit organizations across the company’s service area during the first two quarters of the year.
Entergy Corporation and the Entergy Charitable Foundation awarded $4 million in contributions to nonprofit organizations during the fourth quarter of 2020, bringing total shareholder-funded contributions for the year to $18.9 million.
Third quarter grants included $2.7 million to fund disaster relief efforts, educational programs and economic development.
More than 65 nonprofit groups have been selected to receive $1.25 million in grants from the Entergy Charitable Foundation, bringing the total amount of grants awarded by the foundation during 2011 to $3,052,267.
More than 50 nonprofit groups have been selected to receive $1 million in grants from the Entergy Charitable Foundation.
Company Also Offers to Match Employee Donations Up to $20,000
