This summer was the hottest ever recorded, and in response to the extreme heat, Entergy launched its “Beat the Heat” program – aimed at implementing a series of measures to help vulnerable customers stay cool and safe this summer.
The Power of Prosperity is a new partnership between Entergy, Single Stop and Stackwell to support Historically Black College and University students to ensure their success and position them to build generational wealth.
Survivors of the tornadoes that devastated the Mississippi Delta in March can receive free legal help from Entergy employees. Trained employee volunteers are available to help homeowners and renters in Carroll, Humphreys, Monroe and Sharkey counties file Federal Emergency Management Agency appeals.
For the first two quarters of 2023, Entergy has awarded $6.4 million in shareholder contributions to 467 nonprofit organizations across Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas. These grants helped strengthen communities by supporting education and workforce development, poverty solutions and environmental programs.
