On Feb. 28, Entergy employees and local community partners traveled to Washington, D.C. and met with congressional leaders to advocate in support of the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program.
Low-income senior and disabled customers received about $48 million in bill payment assistance last year.
Entergy New Orleans is piloting a new program that puts solar panels on the rooftops of low-income customers’ homes and gives them a $30 credit on their energy bills every month, rain or shine.
