After Hurricane Ida’s high Category 4 winds impacted southeast Louisiana and commanding the largest restoration workforce in company history, Entergy Louisiana, LLC has made power available to nearly all customers who can safely receive it outside some water routes and the hardest hit areas of Port Fourchon and Grand Isle.
Entergy’s storm crew of nearly 9,000 resources remains on system working to restore the remaining approximately 500 customers that are able to safely receive power, as well as making power available to customers in the most devastated areas.

Following Hurricane Ida making landfall near Port Fourchon, Louisiana on Aug. 29, Entergy Corporation announced today its utilities have restored power to approximately 932,000 customers, which is 98% of customers affected by the storm.
