After nine days of restoration, power has been restored to more than 525,000 of 902,000 customers who lost power due to Hurricane Ida. As power is restored in one community, we are able to converge our workforce and get more boots on the ground in the more heavily-damaged areas.

Entergy Nuclear has received approvals from U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission to restart our Waterford 3 nuclear facility.  Restoration is nearly complete in the greater Baton Rouge area and we are on track to meet our restoration commitments in Jefferson, St. Bernard, Ascension and Livingston Parishes. We also anticipate making a great deal of progress in Tangipahoa Parish in the coming days. We remain on track to have 90% of our customers in the Greater New Orleans area restored by Wednesday. There are some areas where our restoration efforts will be more complex, including Algiers and Venetian Isles.

As we develop more detailed maps of estimated restoration times for customers, they will be posted on the Hurricane Ida website.
