Cantrell Widening Will Require Service Interruption Wednesday Night

07/27/2021

Attention customers in the Walton Heights/Pleasant Ridge area in west Little Rock: Entergy Arkansas is moving power lines to accommodate the widening of Cantrell Rd./Highway 10. To do the work safely, it will be necessary to interrupt service to numerous customers in the area for 2-7 hours beginning 10 p.m. Wednesday, July 28.

About 48 hours in advance, we will contact customers by text or phone who will be affected to let them know what to expect. But the general information is this:

The outage will affect customers in the following areas: Both sides of Cantrell Rd. between North Rodney Parham and Sam Peck; 11600 and 11610 Pleasant Ridge (Juicy Seafood, Newk’s, Santo Coyote, UPS, a few smaller businesses); ALL apartments in the Pleasant Ridge and Pleasant Woods apartment complexes; Southridge Dr.; Bainbridge Dr.; and Beau Rivage Dr.

We plan to restore power to the apartments on Pleasant Ridge, the businesses on Pleasant Ridge, and residential customers on Southridge and Bainbridge by midnight. The rest of the commercial customers on Cantrell Rd. will be restored between midnight and 7 a.m.
