Entergy Louisiana's Seth Schilling on delivering premier customer service

Since stepping into his role in January 2024, Seth Schilling, manager of regional customer service for Entergy Louisiana, has demonstrated a passion for customer service and community engagement.
Schilling’s journey with Entergy began in 2019 within the customer service department, but his foundation was laid in the supply chain sector, supporting the River Bend Nuclear Station. His diverse experiences have provided him with a unique perspective on the energy industry. Based in Baton Rouge, Schilling leads a dedicated team focused on building strong relationships within the East and North regions, spanning various parishes and municipalities.
“One of Entergy’s core expectations is making our customers more successful,” he said. “While not everyone has customer service in their title, we all play a role in delivering premier service. Our company exists to serve customers, and that responsibility is shared across the organization.”
The challenges his team faces are significant, but the rewards are even greater. “The work can be tough, but the impact is meaningful and that motivates me every day.”
Schilling finds inspiration in the moments that highlight the importance of Entergy’s work, particularly during restoration efforts following hurricanes and major storms.
“Witnessing the dedication of our crews working tirelessly to restore power is incredibly moving,” he said. “Seeing the lights come back on and the hope return to people’s eyes makes me proud to work for a company that has such a meaningful impact.”
Through his experiences in customer service, Seth has developed essential skills that contribute to his success and that of his team.
“Customer service touches nearly every corner of the company,” he said. “Understanding how all functional areas interconnect enables us to serve our customers better.”
