They pay you to use less electricity during high-demand times. Depending on the program, you can either actively participate or let your smart thermostat do the work.
Peak Time Rebate Pilot
- What to do: Turn off lights; unplug appliances; avoid using the dishwasher, washer, and dryer.
- What you get: Earn $20 or $50 based on the energy you save.
- Why it’s great: Enjoy flexible participation while helping the environment.
EasyCool
- How it works: Your smart thermostat adjusts automatically for short periods during peak times. You can adjust your thermostat at any time during an event.
- What you get: $100 one-time enrollment incentive and $25 each additional year. The $100 incentive ends June 30, 2025.
- Why it’s great: Earn cash effortlessly while staying comfortable and helping the environment.
