Entergy Arkansas Donates $50K to Community Action Agencies for PPE, Contact Barriers

As part of its ongoing efforts to help customers with the greatest need, Entergy Arkansas announced Wednesday a $50,000 donation to the Arkansas Community Action Agencies Association, which manages the federally funded Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program from 14 locations across the state that covers 74 counties. The dollars will be used to purchase personal protection equipment, plexiglass or other contact barriers, office equipment and other supplies that will expedite processing for customers, who are anticipated by Entergy Arkansas to qualify and participate at greater numbers due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Entergy Arkansas Advocates for Energy Assistance for Low-Income Customers

During LIHEAP Action Day March 2, Entergy Arkansas representatives and community partners will be making the case for increased funding of the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program. The funding goal is at least $4.7 billion for 2017.
