The majority of customers who can take power from the severe storms and tornadoes Friday night have been restored.

Entergy Arkansas has made significant process in restoration following Friday night’s severe thunderstorms and deadly tornadoes.

Just over 4,000 Entergy Arkansas customers remained without power Sunday morning following severe thunderstorms and deadly tornadoes Friday night.

Entergy Arkansas restored power to approximately 19,000 customers affected by high winds and deadly tornadoes that crossed the state Friday evening.

Crews are working to restore power after severe storms swept across the state.

Storms bringing heavy winds in some areas have moved through the southwestern and southern portions of Arkansas, causing widespread power outages.

Entergy Arkansas will respond as quickly as is safely possible to power outages in Arkansas today as remnants of Hurricane Ida pass through the state throughout the day.

Entergy is prepared to mobilize as remnants of Hurricane Ida begin to enter the southeastern and eastern parts of the state beginning tomorrow morning.
