Entergy Arkansas storm update – 4/6/23, 9:30 a.m.
Entergy values you as a customer and strives to provide you with premier service. Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with you as you restore and, in some case, rebuild.
Since the tornadoes struck Arkansas last Friday, March 31, Entergy Arkansas has safely restored more than 64,000 customer interruptions. More than 1,500 utility poles, 435 transformers and nearly 2,000 spans of wire were damaged or destroyed.
Additionally, thunderstorms that came through the state on Wednesday, April 5, caused over 1,200 outages.
Currently, there are approximately 3,000 customers without power. We anticipate over 95% of customers without power will have it restored tonight. Unfortunately, about 1,700 outages involve properties that cannot be restored safely because of extensive damage. Entergy Arkansas will proactively reach out to those customers to determine if their accounts should be placed in temporary disconnect status or closed.
