April 12 storm damage in Cleveland, Mississippi.

As of 7 p.m., Entergy Mississippi has restored power for more than 12,000 customers after a line of severe thunderstorms and strong winds damaged our electrical systems on Easter Sunday evening. About 28,720 customers remain without power, down from a peak of 40,779. Most customer outages are north of a line from Yazoo City to Kosciusko. Based on the extra safety measures we are taking due to COVID-19 and the widespread outages, we believe this will be a multi-day restoration effort and restoration times may be extended.
