The project, which was born from a study to find opportunities for improved reliability, included replacing two transmission line structures outside the substation, and reconfiguring equipment inside of it.

Restoration is complete after storms, including two confirmed tornadoes, moved through Entergy Mississippi’s service territory this week. Since Monday night, crews restored power to 66,074 customers. Electrical power has been restored to all customers who can safely receive power.

Crews have been working as quickly and safely as possible to restore power. As of 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, crews have restored power to more than 55,900 customers, and 5,420 customers are without power.
