What's your power principle at work? "We split atoms.” I frequently say that “we split atoms” as a reminder that we must carefully control our nuclear plants to protect our customers, while powering life. What we do is special and unique.

What motivates you to live and work safely? My family and friends motivate me. Living and working safely ensures that I will be present for the many loves of my life for many more years to come.

What's your best work-related advice? Be audacious when creating your goals – dream big.

When did you first learn about Entergy's Waterford 3 Steam Electric Station? While preparing to end my active duty in the U.S. Nuclear Navy, one of my peers obtained a copy of a list of all of the nuclear stations in the country, along with addresses and points of contact. To my surprise and delight, I found Waterford 3 – just about 100 miles away from my hometown. The rest is history.

Would you like to join Jarrod as he powers lives for customers in the Southeast? Check out career opportunities with Entergy!
