State receives Silver Shovel award for 2020’s economic development successes

Entergy was once again recognized as the most generous workplace by United Way of Southeast Louisiana during their June 23 annual meeting. The company was No. 1 on UWSELA's 2021 Top 10 Most Generous Workplaces list.

The company is the only utility among the top 20 supporters.

The Louisiana Bar Foundation recently honored Marcus Brown, Entergy executive vice president and general counsel, with the 2019 Distinguished Attorney Award for his ongoing leadership and commitment to the legal profession.

Wendy Hickok Robinson, vice president and chief compliance officer for Entergy, was recently recognized as one of the Top 100 Diversity Leaders in Energy at the 2021 National Energy Inclusion Conference.

Entergy has earned a 90% rating on the 2021 Corporate Equality Index released by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation.

Jobs for America's Graduates has honored Entergy with their Partner in the Pandemic Award for the extraordinary leadership and support the company has contributed to JAG to help youth and young adults facing significant academic, environmental, economic and social challenges, so they can succeed in their career pursuits.

Entergy is one of only 58 employers in the country who have earned this award three times since the inception of the program in 2018.

Site Selection magazine has named Entergy as one of the nation’s Top 10 electric utilities in economic development for the 13th consecutive year.
